Old Summer Blues.
Back in the summer, I was great friends with a guy (who shall go unnamed). This guy was a bike rider and he had a gorgeous street bike. He and I used I go riding all the time and totally forget how long we’ve been gone. We had so much fun together and had such intensive conversation . It eventually got the point that I developed feelings while being in a relationship, so I disappeared for awhile so straighten my head out. Anyway the whole point of this is if I could say one thing to him it would be this. Sometimes I miss you dearly and wonder what it would be like to be the only person on the back of that bike. Everytime I hear a street bike my heart drops and in some small way I pray it’s you coming to just take me out one more time. You’ve impacted my life and I’ll be forever greatful.
(maybe I just want to save him like I want to do for every other lost soul, or maybe I just miss the bike and the freedom. What ever it is I know for a fact I miss him and act like I don’t.)
